That’s really good! And beautiful Scottie. My sis has owned at least 10 over the last 30 years.

Stout, how old is your african grey?
My wife has had him since he was a few weeks old and he's 10 now.

does he talk?
Yes but not as much as I'd like. He mimics sounds easily and really well but it takes more to get him to talk. I'm working on it, though.
African Greys are the best talking curved bill parrots. Look up one named Einstein on YouTube. He knows like 500 words. It's pretty cool. There's another one on YouTube that interacts with Alexa a lot and plays music or turns out the lights with it.

I have a retarded beagle whom I hate, was impossible to housebreak, pisser and shitter everywhere, manic and adhd, etc.
Only dog comparable was a 1yo pitbull mutt i fostered, and even he actually was able to remember things he was taught.
I have argued with the wife after it took a giant dump on her favorite rug out of nowhere and the beagle is now an outside dog. It dug its own grave, finally.
I think i will get a lab next. And pay more attention to dog breeds. Granted ive met some really great beagles, but this one is the absolute worst.

You probably enjoy tossing the ball, but did you know there are some automated ball tosser gadgets on the market?

Children can screw up a separation but pets are on a different level IMO.
