I personally know a family with an autistic child and Tebow was a guest speaker at the fundraiser for autism. They said he spoke from the heart and after the event Tebow spent time with the child, Noah. He then went on to sign all autographs and talked to everyone like they were family.

That is such a kind thing to do. It is a blessing to read about good people who try to help others.

Totally unnecessary. Like saying that’s who Mother Teresa strove to be.

Stopped reading. Tim Tebow is a great man who does great things for a lot of people. Whomever you're posting about probably is a great man, but you do him a disservice by comparing him to and degrading others in your support. You should fix your thread title and try again.

Edited to say, Tim Tebow really was not meant to be the focus of this. He just popped in my mind as someone that would do this that everyone knows. But by no means at all point of post.

To be fair most of the downvotes are probably due to you just being a terrible poster in general

Ironic. Never change.

OR...they are down voting YOU because you unnecessarily brought Tim Tebow into the conversation.
Never change, DUMBfrick Saunson. Never change.

Damn you had to edit a three word post

and focusing on Tebow and not the content.
I wonder how that happened? It definitely wasn't you needlessly dragging him into the discussion. My childhood went without multiple things due to decades of subsidizing Tim's family, and even i find the premise to be utter bullshite

I mean good on that guy. He’s doing good things.
Why the strays on Tebow though? He’s a good dude too

Can you elaborate on this?

The post in my mind really didn't have anything to do with Tim Tebow. He is just the only person I could see doing something like this, so I referred to him. It was as little as that. It was a comparison to someone that everyone knows that would do something like this.

Obvious several of you haven’t seen the recent commercials for the Tim Tebow Foundation.
No, why don’t you tell the class?
Tebow seems about as genuine as they come.

Tim Tebow taking catching strays in an uplifting post.

Do you not know how missionary work functions? People go somewhere to spread the word, while other people support them financially. Being our dad's were roommates at uf and seminary, we were there giving since day 1. We actually almost joined them in the late 80s/really early 90s

OP really fumbled the snap.

Both men you cited walk the walk, and I believe you are sincere in admiring both, though awkwardly phased the Tebow comparison.
Good message to remind us of an aspect of humanity that's important in our life journey.

This is good stuff... It's almost as if you have no idea what words mean or how to write.
If you HAD to include Tim Tebow's name, why not say something like, 'As much good as T.T. does, this guy is like Tebow's efforts on steroids...And without the publicity'!
Casting Tebow in a negative light was just dense.
