It's quite easy to understand though. First all you have to do is convince the public that whoever is being targets really isn't human like the rest of us.
Africans were enslaved because they were subhuman, Jews were slaughtered because they were subhuman. People accepted this as being OK because the victims weren't really people. It's been the same over and over. It's the same today.

"Not an extermination camp"? Tell that to the 400,000 Hungarians who were murdered in the last few mths of the war. A Polish inmate, not a Jew, testified that he was working near the part of the camp called Canada, where all the luggage, etc. left behind by those were gassed was stored. He said that he watched a column of empty baby carriages 5 across, that took a hour to pass him by. Where were those 1000's of babies working? Where did all the thousands of gypsies disappear to? Those huge, multiple warehouses full of 100,000 pairs of shoes, still there, where did the owners go ? The commandant of the camp, in his confession/ book admitted that over 1.7 Jews were exterminated under his command. A liar? etc etc etc etc
