If I knew the area, I might ride a dirt bike, but I won't get on the street on one either.

Its certainly more than just trucks.
I think there is some correlation between intellect and driving habits.
also, about 5 years back I saw the same thing happen on Siegen Lane. That street could use a major safety overhaul. It's the most dangerous street,as a motorist, in the Baton Rouge area.

one of my older friends from high school was.. it was a friday night, i was at hooters, he shows up with his biker friends he just got a new bike. He eats and shite, goes out to the freeway in north little rock and tires to pop a wheelie, loses control and skids about a good..50 feet and a car runs over him. he lived but now has no legs. i'd rather ust die.

There's definitely a correlation. Stupid people can't do simple risk/reward analysis in their heads on the fly to realize that almost killing yourself and others isn't worth saving 3 seconds off of your drive.

I'm always super careful around bikes, but the 'it's always the guy in the vehicle' mentality is just false. I've see people on bikes do tons of stupid shite on the roads. It pisses me off because if/when they get in an accident it usually ends up someone else's fault.

wishing that he falls is a little much. but if he's popping wheelies and acting like a tool the best outcome is nothing bad happens. the second best outcome is no other person is harmed because of his stupidity.

Why do motorcycle riders frequently push right up against the center line of a 2 lane road? Is it so that drivers coming toward them will instinctively move toward the outside of their lane? I see it all of the time.

Same here. It first taught me to drive far more defensively until I realized that wasn't enough. People just don't focus behind the wheel, blissfully unaware.
FWIW most of the time I see bikes flying around at 100 mph weaving in and out of traffic without a care so it goes both ways
