Think Chicken would start an annual Hobby Horse competition for the board?

Think of it. We can all assemble and show off our athletic abilities. It's all the rage in Finland.

I guess this is what happens when you're snowed in 9 months out of the year

You laugh but we've been doing it for a few years and it is very entertaining. You get way more excise than with traditional equestrian activities for a fraction of the costs. Not to mention the safety factor is immensely lower with H-horsies. You can create your own stable with personalized horses that each have a special meaning to you. Not to mention the kids LOVE it.

Are there official rules?

Length of stick?

Weight of horse?

Sure there are rules in the competitions but I would recommend just starting out riding at first. Our oldest is getting into some of the tournaments, much to his mother's chagrin, and they are pretty stringent on your gate, shoe selection and stick length. The horsie's weight is not a factor but they will group the competitor's by weight and skill level.

Ha. Nice try. Not all of us put our kids on Lasix and if we do it's VERY regulated. Don't believe everything you read about Hobby Horses dude.

I'm trying to assess if this can get some betting action. Throwing these and making side purse could be a... cinch.

Wait... you're serious?

I guess great for them to have a hobby other than video games and TV.
