Big Box stores.

More than one car per family .... a lot more.

Telephones we can carry in our pockets that also give us access to the WWW and unlimited information within seconds.

Medical advances ... particularly transplants.

That college is now a requirement in the minds of many .... and that the trades have been forgotten.

Unlimited never ending TV in high definition 4k big screens ... in the home.

All the industry this nation has lost.

How gluttonous this nation has become ... and how fat.

How interracial relationships are being pushed by Madison Ave and Hollywood.

How many single mothers are giving birth.

Where did our heavyweight boxing champions go?

Globalism and the NWO .... the JBS warned us back in the 50s.

Modern weaponry .... just amazes me.

Dick Tracy watches. I'm wearing one now.

How divided this country has become and how corrupt our MSM has become.

In a million years I would have never guessed that Baltimore would become a shithole. What a great city it used to be. Same for Memphis.

Billionaires ... it was unimaginable.

The corruption of our education system and how socialism and communism has taken over most of our institutions of higher learning.

The influence of social media.

The rise of the Red Chinese.

The fall and complete collapse of the Soviet Union but more importantly how many former Soviet states are so pro American.

How anti American some of our old allies have become.

How in debt this country has become .... used to be savings accounts would earn you 5% interest and no one used credit cards except Diners Club and Amex and then only high level corporate guys.

How entrenched the female hormonal system and the mood swings and back biting has become in our every day lives on every level and in every single thing we do. Logic has been thrown away in this country because of just that. Everything is emotion and feelings.

The destruction of family values.

The openness and sheer magnitude of the murder and killing of unborn babies. Some wear it like badges of honor.

The emasculation of the American male ... and white guilt. It just baffles me.

How great cars and trucks and SUVs have become and the choices we have available.

Smart homes.

I could go on and on. It's just amazing. I never thought I would make it to the year 2000 ... but I'm glad I did. Grandkids are great!

New car prices. I understand inflation, but damn!!!

I literally purchased my first "starter" home for less than a decent SUV now-a-days.

Smart phones.
The thought of having a computer, tv, shopping app, calculator, ticket booking device, etc. in the palm of your hand is beyond amazing.

I'm more of a fan of Sealab 2021

For me it's 2 things that kind of align with each other. First, the libertarian dream of the internet brining all peoples together and elevating society completely collapsing. Second, the theory that opening China up to free trade would bring about the downfall of the CCP completely collapsing.

Marijuana is no big deal.
Transgender is no big deal.
Wiretapping a president-elect is no big deal.
Women serving combat arms is no big deal.
Openly gay guy running for president is no big deal.
Illegal aliens are no big deal.

Prostitution is still illegal.

When I was young, we feared having the government wiretap or bug our homes. Now we embrace Alexa and our cell phones that listen in to all of our conversations, and can't wait to get the latest model of same.
Also, we now have gas cans that we can't pour gas from without spilling it everywhere.
