Go to LSU health ER and view all the obese/junkie people who frequent it.

Boardwalk is a nice place to walk. Has a few decent food options iirc.

Ernest's Orleans has some good albeit pricey food.

boardwalk is meh... the 4th is going to be pretty awesome.
There is a block party being thrown under the Texas street bridge with live music, as well as a festival being thrown in festival plaza... fireworks at 9 I believe.
We have an aquarium, but I've never been so can't comment.
Restaurants I always highly recommend:
Blind tiger
Parish taceaux
ki Mexico
Fridas...all downtown and walking distance to the festivals and things

Also gotta give the OT answer...Shreveport is a terrible crime ridden dump and you shouldn't come

I forgot about the old waterworks museum, as well. That's cool.

Flying Heart Brewery in Bossier serves their beer and also has a full bar. They serve pizza and salads and other stuff on a limited menu. It’s a family friendly environment where you can play games with your kids and drink some pretty good beer.
