If you like inshore fishing, look up Capt Fritz von Kolnitz of Adventure Outdoors and tell him Deeprig9 sent you.
Yes, the gin-clear winter waters of inshore Charleston are excellent for sight-fishing for big redfish.

If it were June I would tell you to go fishing off the pier at Folly Beach. I was there with some friends that time of year and after a day of deep sea fishing out of Shem creek we went to the pier and they were catching 5-6 ft sharks as fast as they could cast out using cigar minnows. It was pretty wild

One of the reasons I wanna move there is because I want to be able to fish and golf year round, and eat great food and have access to multiple beaches, and live in place that has character and isn't run by a cadre of fricking loons who are intent on destroying a great city.
So the question is, what's a normal rate for something like that?

So did they just cut them off and redo their rig each time?

It's all about the bait report.

Sometimes, occasionally they managed to unhook them but they had to be very, very careful of course. To be honest I'm not sure if they were supposed to bring them up to the pier at all but no one stopped them

If you're there on a Friday, check to see if the Citadel is having a dress parade....

Yup. The first three "bites" are your typical tasting menu fare, but the three main ones were larger than a typical tasting menu bite. Think along the lines of a appetizer or small plate.

Ahhhh, I thought you meant they were hooking them from up on the pier, and not the beach.

Husk is good shite completely forgot about them. If you are really craving BBQ don’t mess with that overpriced mediocre city bbq. Go out to the country. Sweatman’s BBQ in Holly Hill or Duke’s in Ridgeville.

His downtown shop is a rip off, that’s all I’m saying.
Do you remember the original Bessinger’s in Orangeburg? Loved that place. I’ll never forget that amazing smokehouse smell as long as I live.

Its not for everybody, but we enjoyed the ghost walking tour. The dungeons under the old courthouse flooded with high tides and the chained prisoners got nibbled on by crabs.

Travel Board can be pretty light on traffic and I was bumping a pre-existing thread. Didn't start a new one.
And with all the poli board shite that has infiltrated tOT, I'm not gonna be too hard on myself.
