I went last summer.
Definitely do Ft. Sumter. You can also tour a retired aircraft carrier, submarine, and a platoon vietnam exhibit/experience. You can do all this in a package. I was told by the staff that the Vietnam exhibit is very good but.did not.have the time to see it.
If you have bikes, bike the bridge. People actually jog up and down it. I biked it and was out of gas halfway up. But man the thrill of coasting down it was fun.
We did a carriage tour which was fun. The aquarium is nice if you like it.
We booked a shelling expedition charter but had to cancel it last minute. They take you to an island to find them. But if it is.just you and the Mrs, I would boom a private boat tour of the harbor.
We also went to Middleton Plantation which was serene and a sight. It is kept up well and is huge. There is a nice lunch restaurant on site. This is an all day event.
Being that I had kids with me I was not able to do the nightlife, but we did two nights of drive arounds after dinner and it is a charming but happening city. Very nice nightlife.

Oh well then this is simple.
We’re all Klan members and would grab your wife by the pussy and say mean things like Blue Lives Matter and Abortion is murder.
You should definitely stay as far away as possible.

Do a kayak tour of Shem Creek. Not that exciting, but a good daytime sober activity that is not shopping.

I couldn't agree more with this.
Visit the Confederate Museum before some crazy people decide the history there is just too offensive and destroy the place. It's amazing to see what they've collected and if you're any kind of war or American history buff, I can't recommend the place enough.
Lewis BBQ, Raw 167, and Page's Okra Grill (in Mt. Pleasant) are my favorite restaurants, but it's hard to come across a bad place to eat over there.
I really never show up with a plan when I visit. There is so much to do and explore that you'd have a hard to being bored while visiting.

I voted for THe candidate who does not brag about sexually assualting women, lie to the American public about stealing the election, Paid a pornstar hushmoney, and made a mockery of America to the world.
You voted for the candidate who actually grabbed a woman by the pussy, withdrew from the 1988 Democrat Primary due to plagiarism, used his position as VP to enrich his crackhead son and made a mockery of America to the world by voting for the Iraq War, which our current President opposed. Maybe you should change your destination to Asheville or Atlanta. You wouldn't want to spend your time in a state full of chumps or deplorables.

Angel Oak on Johns Island in Charleston is pretty cool to see as well.
Old Sheldon Church ruins in Yemassee towards Beaufort is worth the hr drive from Chucktown imo.
Also an hr and a half away but worth the trip is St. Helena Island where you can explore church ruins and learn about the Gullah Geechee culture. (I'd do this the same day as Old Sheldon bc the locations are close to each other)
Charles Towne Landing is also a popular place to visit. Has a museum exploring the history of Charleston and lots of walking trails, some live animal exhibits and other things. You can rent bikes to explore bc the place is huge.
This is from their site:
I was born and raised in SC and live about an hr and 45 mins from Charleston. Kind of sad I don't take advantage of being so close to it as much as I should when others start talking about traveling there.

Charles Towne Landing State Historic Site sits on a marshy point, located off the Ashley River, where a group of English settlers landed in 1670 and established what would become the birthplace of the Carolina colony. Charles Towne Landing introduces visitors to the earliest colonial history of Charleston. Interact with hands-on exhibits in the Visitor Center, talk to knowledgeable staff members, and take an audio tour on the self-guided history trail.
Guests can step aboard and tour the Adventure, Charleston's only 17th-century replica sailing ship, see cannons fired, or take a peek at otters, bears, bison and more at the Animal Forest natural habitat zoo. The grounds also include 80 acres of gardens, with an elegant live oak alley and the Legare Waring House.
