OP - make life easier on yourself.. just do what she asks if possible. Not because you are whipped, but because you married her, your job now, tend to the wife and mother of your kids.

Yeah both of our vehicles were 70 degrees this morning. Quite nice.
But I do go walk down there and load up all of our stuff for the day, the kids stuff, get her a drink and coffee, all ready to go in the car. I do all of this while she gets the kids ready, teamwork makes the dream work.
