Things that you rationalize

Been thinking today about how often I dupe myself into things by rationalizing them to seem like they are a good idea. Things like: "Just this once", "Been a long day so I deserve to kick my feet up and veg out", etc.
What are some things that you rationalize or what are some things our culture rationalizes?

Sunk cost fallacy. It’s a gamblers nightmare.
It relates to a lot of things though. Stock price going down and not getting out of position. Etc

Pretty much anything I buy for myself. My husband always says “you make your own money, you don’t have to explain anything to me!” Yet I still do.
