Possible, although we don't know for sure. There's reason to believe that China would not get involved. But there's also considerations that say they could.

It would be interesting to see how all this plays out, I hope it ends like all other N. Korea threats and nothing happens. I have a son that turns 18 in January and I would hate to see him go to war because of the little a-hole.

It's possible. You'd just need about 83,333 of those gun systems all lined up. From what I can find they only cost about $5,000,000 a pop so it would cost us something like $416 billion dollars to set it all up. Chump change really.

I recall listening to General Livsey, CFC and 8th Army Commander, addressing the officers of 2ID in 1985. He said that how quickly the North Koreans would be defeated was simply a matter of how much warning he had before an attack. I would imagine that the correlation of forces has moved in the South's favor over the past 30 years. The only real question is what steps toward mobilization has the ROK taken?

Exactly. Course there's also the matter of crewing these systems. From what I can see, each gun would need a crew of about 4. So we'd need a force of just under 335,000 troops just to crew them. Course you'll also need other troops like cooks, medics, supply, etc. to support all those crews so when you add all those guys in you'll need somewhere around 700,000 - 800,000 total troops just for this one area to protect this one city using this one system.
Seems legit.

Given that with every passing generation more and more North Korean children are shorter, physically smaller, and malnourished as opposed to their South Korean counterpart,
