I was listening to the Brilliant Idiots podcast (Andrew Shultz and Charlemagne the god) and they were talking about making movies today and how there are rarely any Rated R movies because making a movie PG13 gets more views when its on streaming services.

Coming to America 2 is a good example. The first one is a classic. Im sure most people on this board can quote at least one line from that movie. Coming to America 2.. I watched it once and had no plans to waste my time watching it again, but everyone who liked the first one watched it just to see where they went with the story line, but its also available for people who have the parental restricts turned on so everything is shite because they want the PG13 rating so they are limited to what they can do.

And although Married With Children wasn't rated R, it was one Fox and Fox would take things a little further than the other 3 networks and today, it would upset people.

And while I don't care at all if someone is gay, there is no need to have multiple gay people in every show. And if they were writing Al Bundy today, he would be acceptable of gays.. which isn't funny. They would have him and Peg going to a marriage councilor. Kelly would be a struggling young mother who makes most of her money on OnlyFans and would only be "sexy" not because that's just how she is, but because she has to to earn money for her autistic son. Bud would be a video game geek and would actually be cool.
