That is right next to the Walgreens on Harrison. Whoever rented that place out for something like that should be run out of the neighborhood some kind of way.

Shocked that that KOC hall would allow that party

Honestly I did not know they had so much police in NOLA.

Because you believe everything you read on the internet.

Building was over code per NOFD. Crowds were loitering and overflowing into the streets, in a neighborhood with citizens who care, thus the reason it’s a nice area. Everything was handled properly. Not even a news worthy story.

Doesn’t St Dominic control this KOC Hall?

Heads are going to roll for allowing this

For allowing it to be rented out? That’s an odd way to think.
Party happens, word gets out, too many people show up, party gets shut down. Were any of y'all young before? This seemed to happen every weekend when we were young. And without the interwebz.

The people who rented it out told them 150 people and security detail, then proceeded to post all over social media openly to get hundreds of people to come.

Not sure you’re familiar with Lakeview but regardless of actual blame they are going to freak out and nail the leadership to the wall.

Dunno if I would gauge anything based off of that app.

It still amazes me how shitty most people are at filming. Just keep the phone still. It isn’t hard

My daughter and 4-5 of her friends had a combined sweet 16 party and we easily had over 300 people between the girls.

It’s very common

But we rented out Preservation Hall

You sure about this?

Several years ago my fiance and I looked into having our reception there and if I remember correctly the capacity was 150. We had a guest list of about 250, so we scratched that venue off our list.

Just as an fyi, cops have no legal duty to do anything.

Desertion, cowardice, and dereliction of duty are not a part of the legal vocabulary when talking about LEO.

No it’s not

Lester is a dumbass

Those were clearly NOPD officers, not Old Metairie officers.

Lester lives in Kenner so he doesn’t know the difference
