Assuming you aren’t living off the government or mooching off people who resent you, you do you. There is something to be said for keeping expenses low. But, why not do something like drive for Uber or Lyft, to at least have transportation. And maybe a second burrito?

I think so too. I do think life is more complex now than it was 50-100 years ago, with a lot more BS to worry about and pay for, and i’m all for keeping things simple. I think more people would find satisfaction in life if they had their own business or service they provided rather than be another cog in the wheel of a large corporation. I think a lot of people just give up. At least if you saved the money yourself, you aren’t hurting society.
