For example, in the days after Hurricane Katrina made landfall, numerous media reports showed images of African Americans stranded on roofs in New Orleans. These images exposed significant inequalities in access to emergency response and recovery efforts.
You quote this as if it is proof that the government is justified in calling out the people of Louisiana.
The problem is that the most impoverished people in New Orleans are mostly African American (AA). AA people in New Orleans were really bad about not evacuating before the storm. Some of this was due to means while a lot of this was also due to stubbornness. However, this same stubborn attitude had no racial preference as people from all races and social classes stayed behind to inevitably be trapped.
Regardless, some of the hardest hit areas were poor and mostly black neighborhoods that the media now seems to use to equate New Orleans with leaving behind black people.
What's interesting with the current flood is that this whole area is chock full of boaters. On average, every other house likely has a boat. Some of the initial rescuers were people using their boat to get their family out and who then began to shuttle other people to safety. That just wasn't the case in New Orleans because not only were there fewer boats, but most people had already left because of the advanced warning.

Unless, he goes to North Baton Rouge. Then he'll get a 3 piece and a side with a biscuit.

I see racial harmony
Here on the OT.
A community of strangers
Connected by the flood danger.
They helped their neighbors
Thought nothing of their own labor.
And here comes the race baiting chief
Getting treated like a looter or thief.
Good on you BR.

So were the stubborn white middle-class people that floated out on pool rafts the ones that took action? I'm not sure what you are trying to say here. Well, I actually do by your spelling of "guvmen't." Racist twat.

What exactly are you saying. I'm not sure what you are trying to say. Maybe you should be more clear. You sound racist.

It's a rebuttal to his comment on my post about Hurricane Katrina. She ascertained that black people sat on their arse during Katrina and waited on the "guvmen't." My point is that there were a lot of white people that got stranded as well. Some of which who floated out on pool rafts.
And I'm using an example from some of my own dumbass family.
I was being tung-in-cheek by asking is those were the people he was referring to as those who "take action."

I don't think Cajuns are Caucasians and Obama was merely looking out to protect them from those ruthlessly discriminatory Caucasians.

Know how many buses were active with a category 5 hurricane approaching???? ZERO. Not one of their fricking leaders were ever held accountable, nor was Maw Maw Blanco, who was elected because of these people. Yet they blamed the Feds. And the predators are and will continue to rape these people for their votes.
Eta; Before the leftists go off, I spent 8 years with an Insurance Debit Route in the Lower 9th. I saw this nonsense first hand.
