Early on in my career I was responsible for the company cell phones and pagers. On more than one occasion I had dudes walk into my office put a wet phone or beeper on my desk and then say, I need a replacement this one fell in to toilet.
I nearly got fired once when I told one of them to get that shite off my desk and get the frick out of my office…. The division VP happened to be walking by and heard the commotion and he was red faced and fuming. I explained what happened and told him I was ready to pack my stuff up and leave if he was going to take his guy’s side. Still with the company 27 years…
