He was a very intelligent guy, probably changed locations and method of killing. I doubt he just stopped or got locked up.

GF's brother is a federal agent. He doesn't work on these kinds of cases, but just his normal run of the mill duties have messed with him. He's completely shut down emotionally. You can't get anything out of him in conversation except the most superficial small talk. He won't open up even to his own close family.

Ted Bundy has to be on top of the list. Not only the number of women he killed but the way he killed them then would have sex with them for days. The corpses were rotting and all kinds of animals were tasting them. That didn't bother ole Ted.
