I watched a LOT of TPiR during the 90s in the summer. I like to reminisce.

5. Episode 1244K, November 4, 1999: Dining room group, 12-week dance lessons, jukebox

4 (tie). Episode 7552D, February 20, 1990: Dinette set, “Bad Cats” pinball machine, child’s race car bed, professional range
Episode 8693D, February 10, 1993: Corsican cradle, miniature wine vault, “Hook” pinball machine, dinette set

2. Episode 8824D, May 13, 1993: Display cabinet, soda fountain, desk and chair, 10 pairs of dumbbells

1. Episode 9242D, June 7, 1994: Dinette set, archery set, player piano

The second showcase was ALWAYS better. Always pass on the first.

I was at a taping one time and they seem to pick the dumbest people. There was a hillbilly from West Virginia and a group of USC students and they picked the dumbest one.

The dinette sets were the worst. Not even Dian, Holly or Chantel could salvage those unless you won them with it.

My biggest complaint is that there has always been too much Plinko (that game should have been played once every three months) and not enough Cliff Hangers (that should have been played every week).

I may have declined some of those all together to avoid the taxes.

Selling random items sounds like a pain to me.

Cliff hanger was the GOAT. On no school days my Aunt would watch us and have Price is Right On. My cousins and I would be making all kinds of noise, playing, having arguments. Cliff Hanger came on and you could hear a mouse fart.

Have you seen the documentary on the guy who would yell out the correct answers at the show because he watched every episode? It was mildly entertaining.

Especially in those days, pre eBay/facebook, etc... I guess you’d have to list everything in the newspaper.

I give him a pass because he asked if he was bidding on everything and I think he thought Bob meant he was bidding on everything in the show.

The lady that confidently bid $498 after the lady in front of her bid $499 is the dumbest

My all time favorite. Used to be a Friday night tradition in the 90's for me/wife/daughter to go to our locally owned pizza joint that just happened to have BadCats in the gameroom. Pizza and pinball on Friday night. Good times!
Maybe for sentimental reasons, but also because it was a fun, fair machine.

BadCats

Played Badcats at Pinpoint Bar in Fayetteville in Jan/Feb before shutdown. They have about 15 machines there. Funhouse is probably my favorite - always loved Williams machines the best.
