Is a high school education no longer a prerequisite for a job at the NY Times?

Do they really want us to believe that more people are about to die of starvation in the next few years than died under Stalin or Mao?

Seems that obesity is a bigger problem in the US than starvation. People living in NYC and other large metro areas are single minded with social distancing. They seem to think that the entire world is like them and stuck an a 900 sq ft flat in Manhattan. They are in an information vacuum. They have no understanding that farmers are still feeding livestock and crops are still growing during "shutdown".

Very few people in NYC are "essential employees", while on the other hand very few people in farm communities are "non-essential".

Seems a bit sensational to me. Hunger was eradicated in 1930 when the Snickers bar hit shelves.
