Oh for frick sake, you wasted time away from your family to tell us about your Timex. We are all so glad you get pleasure out of trolling, one of the lowest common denominator pursuits.

Love that for you. Feel better now that you got that out?

BTW, I still have this specific strap and would be willing to sell if anyone is interested.

I would like to see it.

The 3861 wears smaller than the 1861 despite the fact that they are both 42 mm watches.

I meant to note in my earlier post the Speedy Pro really isn't a 42mm watch depending on how you view it. The bezel is 40mm and the extra 2mm are the asymmetrical bulge on the pusher side. None of that means anything when you are looking at it on your wrist but I think some people are turned off by the number never bothering to actually try it on.

The reduced version or Speedmaster Automatic has serious rotor noise that always seemed to be a huge problem when I owned the watch.

The 7750 wobble. It is caused by the 7750 only winding in one direction so it free spins in the opposite direction. I have several 775X watches and I am one of those that actually like it. I don't fins the noise very noticeable but it varies based on the case it is in. I actually like that it makes the watch feel "alive". Over the years I have perfected to technique of spinning the rotor and will catch myself occasionally subconsciously spinning a 7750 based watch. I do understand how it would annoy some people.

If Rolex and Omega reduced the sizes of the Submariner and Speedmaster to 38 or 39mm they would be perfect
I have the Speemaster 57 in blue and it’s 40.5mm. Fits really well on the wrist.

I saw this and it does look beautiful but speedies always feel so large on the wrist. Wish they make this 40mm

You can get it on a black leather strap too.

You are such a fool. If they do that then it won't get noticed nearly as often.

It's not your fault, you just don't understand.

There are watches, and then there is Rolex.

Looks way more better. I’d swap from rubber to leather to nylon and back again, depending on occasion. Love that it’s still handwound.

You probably also spend it on a truck, ATV, guns, ammo, a duck or deer lease, etc…

Why does that have appeal?

Right, it’s only 47mm lug to lug, which is the same as the 39mm Black Bay 58.

I think it increases your connection with the watch. Taking the time to focus on winding it daily is something I would really enjoy. The feel of those tiny gears…the beauty of the movement without a rotor…the size of the movement…it’s just cool.

For a split second, I thought Triumph came out with a white speedmaster.
