They have .....yes convertible busses here. A bus with the top cut off. Usually a short bus.
To go with what that poster said "white" party busses are usually "limo" busses like the airport shuttle style, if it's an old Blue Bird it's usually a black group.

Wdsu did a segment on this story at 6. They only showed video of cops at the scene during their investigation. Video of the attack must exist. I imagine the optics look bad for the city.
