Then there are those like Liberator whose brand of religion tells them that the earth is flat and covered by a dome. Even the existence of stars and galaxies turns his world upside-down, so he's had to cut all that off from the get-go by denying any and everything that science has discovered over the last several thousand years or so.

Yeah, that’s dumb as frick, though. The moon behaves exactly as if it were a sphere, from the apparent shapes of craters on the face to the moon phases. If it isn’t spherical, god made it look spherical, why? So dumb.
Also, density, how does it work?!

Well, unless we find humans living on some distant planet then we are special and unique. Which, and I can only speak for Christianity, if I remember correctly all the Bible only says God made us in His image. It doesn’t say anything about us being either special or unique.

The second law of thermodynamics says that when energy changes from one form to another form, or matter moves freely, entropy (disorder) in a closed system increases. Differences in temperature, pressure, and density tend to even out horizontally after a while.
While pockets of order can exist within a Universe that is ruled by disorder, they will meet the same fate eventually, complete entropy.
