I walked outside here in Acadiana and the cool temperature hit me. It's 66 degrees out there right now which brought a age old discussion me and the wife have.
Which do you prefer weather wise? Hot or cold, summer or winter? Not the fall/spring because the mild temps are usually the most comfortable. I'm talking mid-summer or mid-winter.
I prefer the cold, you can bundle up as much as you want, have fires, and cold weather food like chili or gumbo is just better that time of year. It also carries a hint of nostalgia for me for some reason, I guess cause my bday is December 10th and I love New Years Eve.
With heat esp in LA, it's just smoldering hot, and the humidity makes it unbearable. But my wife prefers the heat over cold.
How bout you?

Give me winter all day everyday. I can always put on more clothes, but can only take so many off before it is a felony.

give me cold over 100 degrees everytime

I prefer to be warm rather than cold; however; I like the changing of seasons more than the season itself.

Love me some pullover weather.

Hot. Cold weather in these parts reminds me I'll have less daylight soon and that is depressing
also hot weather around here means you can see more of a girl's boobies

I prefer weather like this, high 60's low 70's. Low humidity.

I like the temperature to be from 55-70. You can be comfortable, the extreme heat is like a fight that you have to just out-endure.
I wouldn't want it to be a blizzard, but I dont mind a jacket over having to depend on air conditioners.

Winter for sure.
The only drawback is less daylight.

It is a bit tough to say it b/c we have been in the heat for so long, but I still prefer the heat to the cold (and I'm talking real cold here, like well below freezing).
As someone else mentioned, part of the problem w/ the cold weather is that the days are too short. I get bummed when there isn't much sunshine. And even in the middle of summer you can go outside and do stuff in the mornings or nights. When it is really cold, it is tough to do any outdoor activities even when bundled up.

On any one day...I would prefer the colder weather. However, over the period of several months, I would prefer the hotter weather...which is why I live in South Louisiana and not Meechigan.
I prefer for my scenery to be tanned and have less clothing than pale white sporting parkas.

70-75 with a nice breeze. San Diego has the perfect weather to me. I actually love visiting the mother in law there. I think it's around 75 year round.

Winter when I was young, summer now. I don't tolerate the cold as well as I use too

San Diego is cheating.
That's exactly why you pay out the arse if you want to own a home.
