I'm in, but I eventually got out after 15 years. From 80-95. It was fun while it lasted.

I had one for a while and loved it. Pets used to really love sleeping on it to. Giving ladies warm oil massages and sliding around...

Never had one but it seems the water would get slimy and funky in that thing. Did you have to drain it once a month or something?

There was something you added to it when you first filled it. I had mine for years and never drained it.

Had one growing up and loved it. My grandparents actually have it at their house now in the spare bedroom. I took a nap in it last year for Christmas and it is still amazing.

I remember trying to sleep on a water bed after heavy drinking. Didn’t go well.

Some hippies lived briefly in a run-down rent house. After they moved out, some of us neighborhood kids explored the house.

The hippies left the most rudimentary waterbed ever made. It was twin-size, black rubber like a tire inner-tube, filled with water and just sitting on the floor. No baffles, heater, or even bed-frame. Lord knows what they did on that thing.

Hd one in the late 1960's- to mid 1970's and again in the early 1980's to about 1990. Loved it, but to the point is was getting hard to get out of it.

In. Now days I'd wake up unable to walk after sleeping without support.

I had a full motion in in the 90's. There was a method to having sex in it but once you got it you could get pretty creative. Keeping the heater set to the right temp was a must and it was a bitch to move. I eventually just left it at one of the places we lived in after moving out.

ETA I also remember apartment complexes asking if you had a waterbed if you were moving into an upstairs apartment.
