Generational arguments crack me up. What a bunch of losers
This really isn’t even a generational argument at its core.

It is a discussion with individuals who claim to not need SS but demand that it continue at the expense of their kids so that they can get what they paid in, even though that money has been gone for decades.

Then why were you defending its existence so adamantly?

It is, so why would you want your kids to be forced to pay into it so that you can “get what I paid in”?

That is kinda the point I’m trying to make.

If you don’t need it, support ending it.

They know it is a broken program that will weigh on all future generations.

The rates are also higher now than they were previously. And they'll likely increase again before I retire

Absolutely support.

Now, tell me how that's going to happen?

Needs based?

Phase out?

Im fine with it- and I expect, like your parents, I paid in a ton.

Zoomers can't even get a date while boomers have their harem. Sickening.

They will have to, probably by a lot, otherwise the program won’t survive for the boomer generation, let alone leave anything for Gen X, millennials, etc.
