Who are recommended builders in UC that won't gouge you per sq ft?

It's going to be relatively expensive to build but there are several approved builders who are very familiar with all the restrictions, my advice would be to interview some of them and see who you're most comfortable with and who you feel can give you the most within your budget.

We're really happy so far, still noting some punch list items but they're going to take care of anything we need done, said to take our time.

They worked with Mark Matthews on our plans, said they use him quite frequently. We worked with them from the beginning, they got us the lot we wanted and then we started the design phase; the lot, plans and build we're all rolled into a single purchase price which was nice and easy for us.

Mark (or you) drew my house too.

We interviewed Traditions and we liked Ted and his two sons. We asked about change orders and didn't like Jacqui's response. She was going to charge us the same percentage regardless of what something costs. So, if we changed a $10 fixture, she was going to charge us an additional $2.50. If we changed a $1000 fixture, she was going to charge us the same percentage...$250. We asked her if that seemed right and her response was quite off putting...enough for my wife to eliminate them before we left their driveway.
