Back when a college education was free and when it was easier to get a good paying job without a college degree?
What a shocker!
Please research real wage growth

The truth is the actual population hasn't been growing at all since the 90s.
The "growth" the last 30 years is just foreigners arriving

It needs to slow to reset a bit.
Unfortunately, the things needed to happen to kickstart a new generation won’t happen.
-It’s too expensive for the average worker to get married and raise a few kids.
-Divorce incentivizes women leaving men.
-Kids aren’t raised with a stay at home mom reinforcing what’s been learned at school and instilling good morals and values.
-Social media and TV is getting more toxic by the day, and infiltrating the uneducated
In a nutshell…too many people hitting the easy button lead to single parents living paycheck to paycheck while little Johnny wastes away on a phone. A lack of family values won’t instill a want to have a family of your own. Combine that with inflation, and it’s like a flurry of punches coming from Mike Tyson.
The only ones having large families are the people that shouldn’t be procreating.

Legal immigration and birth rate are two sides of same coin to support our aging population (retirees, pensions, healthcare, eldercare), GDP growth, labor shortages and growing tax base to support debt service.
Make a baby and hire a legal immigrant.
Simple.

Lie. Illegals numbers plunged.

aggressive anti-immigration policies of President Trump.
Another lie. His policies are aggressively anti-ILLEGAL travelers.

Good, we are starved for land in this country.

Inflation is the biggest culprit. I know everyone on here thinks everything is a "societal" or "culture" problem but we would at least be closer to replacement levels if the economy was better.
Feminism and Repld Pill dudes who won't marry are definitely contributing to it but to the average non chronically online person, its an economic issue.

Clear path to population decline without immigration.
I think that we need to be more selective with our immigrants and tighten up the system, but I also think that we definitely need immigrants.
Japan has been in the shitter for so long because their birth rates are down and they were closed off to immigrants for way too long.

Now break it down by demographic.
Breaking it down by net worth and household income would be a more telling tale. Hint:it's not the highest income households pushing out the most kids. Idiocracy got that part right.
