I don't. And here's why.
Yellow Cab (and ones like it) have their business model and frankly, their whole internal culture, built around the premise that they make the rules and you, the customer, have to live by those rules. They run on a false premise that you have to take what they dish out and like it.
Much like the way Blockbuster was ran. It was their way or the highway (pardon the pun) and they were very slow to alter their business model, if at all.
Now, along comes Uber and is giving everyone simple solutions to all of the issues that everyone has had with cabs this whole time. God forbid someone comes along and flips off the cab companies huh? Who do they think they are?!
frick companies like this and I hope they run right into the ground with their stubborn arse policies. You can see from the attitude of this dickjones character how they all of think of us. frick 'em.

If by exposing Uber's shortcomings, you mean rationalizing and justifying YC's awful customer service as well as blaming the customers for all the problems, then yea he def pointed out Uber's shortcomings.

What a fricking joke they are as a company. And it feels really good to be able to say that now that we have a real service on the brink. 3 years ago, no one would have thought twice about their website. This is why Uber threads get so much love. Because they are a service for the people that can genuinely make their lives safer and more convenient.

Yeah, they are haha. I've seen two get out and fight at a red light, light turned green and they got back in car and drove off.
Had one go on and on about how he drives part time because he works for NASA during the day as an Astrophysicists.
