You’ve either never been or didn’t do it correctly. Ignorant statement.

It’s crazy that people who likely enjoy tailgating at football games can’t figure out how to have fun at what is essentially a two week long tailgate.

Anything that has to be “done correctly “ to truly enjoy is a shitty recreational activity / vacation. This applies to Disney too.

.....don't venture off the popular lighted streets down some side street. Tyrone is lurking ready to pick you off.

....and be sure you wash your hands thoroughly when you get back to your hotel room. Carry some of that hand disinfectant in your pocket. Definitely avoid public toilets if possible.

As you were.

A bunch of drunk idiots that frick up the flow of traffic

I agree....drunk idiots. Came to that realization once when I saw a young very drunk college age couple fall in a small ditch. And trust me it wasn't much of a ditch. Try as they could, they couldn't get out of that ditch. I stood and watched. After their fourth failed attempt to exist said ditch....I left.

Haven't been back to a Mardi Grass celebration since. IMO it's just a bunch of people getting drunk or doing whatever. It really is a miracle more people are not hurt.

Mardi Gras is for locals and the people of Louisiana.

One of the poorest states shunning an industry that helps keep it afloat; tourism.

Interesting take.

I threw a football before Pat Mahomes ever did, but you don’t see people bringing that up all the time.
