It will be seen as the lobotomy of our generation that succeeding generations will mercilessly mock us for, specifically when it comes to kids transitioning.
I always get a kick out of the “right side of history” people
There will be a day people look back and think of us as absolutely barbaric morons that wanted to shun everything that made society prosper.

Many younger people nowadays feel it’s easier to be themselves and that society has become more accepting in order to do so. Combine that, with less gatekeeping in the medica/psych community, your numbers are higher compared with decades ago.
And increasingly studies are showing that the vast majority of the youth identifying as trans will grow up to simply be gay. There should absolutely be more gatekeeping and not less when it comes to children. As it stands, some children are able to completely ruin their lives with hormone treatments at a young age and are not given an honest discussion of what that entails.
We are seeing a few cases already, but I think there are going to be waves of lawsuits from women that due to a mistake as a child where adults should have been there to know better instead of encouraging it, can no longer get pregnant or have an orgasm.
America is in denial about the reality of this phenomena because few in academia or the health community wants to appear unempathetic for fear of being ostracized, and that empathy is being used to harm children’s futures.

Was having a discussion with a transgender the other day. They were saying that it naturally occurs in other animals, so it is true.
I posited, "Does it NATURALLY occur in humans though?" I got no response after that.
Taking hormones/having surgery because you "feel" that you are something else does not sit right with me.
Why don't we accept people like Rachel Dolezal, or anyone who feels like their own subjective reality does not match the objective reality that is portrayed?

Also that therapists need to get to the root causes as to why people feel this way because the prevalence of it today is so much higher than it was
I wonder if it's that there are more people today or that more people feel safe to come out. I think "back in the day" gay people were in the closet because of the public/family perception. Hell, many got married and had kids even though they were gay. Now you see way more out and open about it. I wonder if that's what's happening here with transgender people or if it's actually a larger population of them now?

You went to law school with a man who had lots of surgery to make himself look like a woman. He will never have ovaries, thus he will never be a woman!
quote:That they do. The abbreviation for the disorder - that is, the uncommon, not normal, very out of the ordinary occurrence - is MRKH.
Problem with this is there are biological females born without ovaries. Still have all the parts.
quote:That it does.
I know people don't like to hear this, but intersex exists.
For women born without ovaries, it's a commonality to the tune of 1 in every 5000 women. It's literally everywhere you look: It's under every rock, tucked in between every crevice, and it hides behind 1 in every 5000 clouds in the sky. Make no mistake, it's as common as the common woman's ovaries.
Thus, it's perfectly reasonable - hell, it is a matter of fact - that we ought to use this unimaginable quantity of individuals with MRKH to shape the way our society ought to operate. (Or else!) Thus, with or without their consent, let's lump MRKH women in with the other oppressed people under the acronym of LGBTQQIP2SAA, and while we're at it, let's also include women and black and brown people, plus pretty much everyone else except white and Asian men in order to accumulate the largest number of people as possible in order to put them in an "identification box" and justify the clown world we so adamantly desire.
You seem to be speaking of the disorder like it's a common, completely normal and chosen thing, and that it should (and is) directly associated with the young men who castrate themselves by choice and the young girls who do whatever it is that they do to not be young girls anymore. I'd wager to bet my left nut (and I love my left nut, right nut not so much so) that the overwhelmingly majority of the underwhelming number of unfortunate women who were born with MRKH want nothing to do with being associated with the truly elite ("elite" by pop culture and legislative standards) freaks ("freaks" by the rest of the normal citizenry) who chose to cut their dicks off and become an ovaries'less "woman" just like the poor woman with MRKH who did not choose to be unlike the other 4999 women who have ovaries.
Regardless of what the media, the politicians, pop culture, other powers-that-be and the sheeple who believe, worship and blindly go along with what all of the above have to say about the "normalness" of the seemingly majority number of Americans (according to the above-mentioned people) who chose to buck that transphobic son of a bitch named "Biology" and be something they're really not, it is not, in fact, a common enough occurrence to where it (LGBTQQIP2SAAEtc.) should dictate our societal laws and push the agenda onto the rest of us who chose to be transphobic. (If you prefer to keep your penis or vagina and your biological sex as is then, just like people who were born white are inherently racist, so too are you inherently trans/homo/etcetera/phobic.)
If a man wants to turn his Jimmy Dean link sausage into a taco then that's fine by the rest of us, but don't tread on us with that bullshite and shove it down our throats with legislatively enacted laws and then lump in the unfortunate 1 in 5000 women with MRKH who, unlike taco dick, have an unchosen disorder that they didn't ask for, and then make out like they're the same as the people in the group with Bruce what's-it's-name and insist on laws made to punish ovaryphobic people into compliance with an agenda that cannot be achieved, ever.
quote:But one is not like the other: With the exception of both not having ovaries, MRKH is not like a ballsack who chose to be turned into a meat curtain. The uncountable number of illogicalities in the year 2020 are mind numbingly astounding.
I know people don't like to hear this
But hey, let's act like it's completely normal to let a transsexual man (or you'd better hope he's transsexual) into the bathroom with your mother so that he can flop his dick out (assuming he still has one) in front of her and take a leak, all because he's exactly the same and exactly as normal of an occurrence as the two one-hundredths of ONE percent of women who are born without ovaries. Yeppers, they're just as common and identical as the ovaries of the other 4999 women, and, according to your twisted logic, people just do not like to hear that - they and their bigotry just cannot handle that.
So yeah, let's lump all medical and biological sexual anomalies together as one and the same as "the letter people" and then make that new clown world the new normal (and the new law of civilization) and dare anyone to question it. Yeah let's do that, and then let's see how long it goes before it breaks.
Because it will break.

"Transphobic" is the word they use when they're forced to understand that one individual's mental illness is not communicable to others.

Most of the books Nazis burned were on the tranny stuff, pornography, and the like. Trannies say Nazis put them back 70 years.
It is why they call the right Nazis.
