Me? Nah - I’m good.

However, the people on that list definitely ran into the wrong kind of people. Then again…it’s New Orleans.

just know of someone who got guns pulled on her in a "safe" uptown neighborhood in the middle of the day and it made me re-evaluate what we consider "safe" neighborhoods vs unsafe neighborhoods.

What street and cross street? Name the neighborhood

don't know WTF "Old Aurora" is, but there's a high likelihood of getting carjacked in the rest of those neighborhoods.

They had it wrong. Old Algiers is across the river from the French Quarter.

Aurora is in near the other end of DeGaulle and you can't see the skyline from there.

Old Aurora was home to a few interstate shooting victims. Odd for such a small area population wise.

Carjacked at gunpoint
In a yogurt store during an armed robbery. Was only a kid so nothing to take from me
My brother's house has been broken into and robbed. His car also
My mom has witnessed a bank robbery at Capital One
My dad's store was robbed around 10 times during its 25 year run.

Yea crime is contained

No one wrote it.

Look at the wording, syntax, sentence and paragraph structure. Clearly done by ChatGPT or some form of AI program.

10. Central City

Central City is a vibrant working-class district that has undergone a renaissance in recent years. This area is famous for its Mardi Gras parades and delicious Cajun cuisine. Furthermore, the neighbourhood is renowned for its local art exhibits, such as film screenings at the Ashe Cultural Arts Center. Although Central City has a population of 13,500, its crime rate is slightly higher than the national average. However, the crime rate has steadily decreased as the area becomes more gentrified.

Most Central City residents don't work.

Lake Shore

66% safer than the Louisiana average

Why switch from New Orleans average to Louisiana average here? I know why.

St. Roch was a cool place in the 90s, but I heard about violent crime there weekly in the last couple years. And Lakeview is not as safe as St. Roch according to that list.

The drummer from Imagination Movers got carjacked last week in front of a popular uptown coffee shop. He lived.
