Depends. The movie about the UT shooter was filmed at the La state capital because UT wouldn’t let the tower be used for the movie.

Like mountains where there shouldn't be mountains, getting basic facts wrong. If you're going to do something do it right.

Yeah, really sucks!
Or maybe it could just be tax incentives? Or maybe it's surrounded by skyscrapers now and they are filming a period piece and it would make it hard to edit them out.

I like the scene in aTop Gun where Mav and Goose have to eject. They’re fighting over the desert, not a drop of water in sight. Then they eject and land in the ocean.
