Every year from early June til football starts I get legitimately depressed and its 100% heat related.

You cant go outside or do anything outside and it’s miserable if you try.

I'm about the same. Some people claim to get winter depression but I'm the exact opposite.

Didn't say I got out. He had a waterfall of sorts on his so it was comfortable but it was not exactly that "Aaaaaaaaahhhhh" experience. However after a few drinks and sending my nephew to one of those Ice Machines with 40 dollars he came back dumped it out and it became better as the sun started to go down around 7 pm

Yeah, for me it requires at least some semblance of a breeze to move the water off me after immersing myself. Absent that, you're pretty much swimming and lounging in warm water.

Exactly, those blinding skies, humidity and painful rays, hot nights and stinky people.

My two dogs are looking at me through the sliding glass doors like, “Hey motherfricker! You gonna let us in or what? It’s hot as frick out here!”

And I’m like, “If I let you motherfrickers in, then I’m gonna have to vacuum the whole goddamn house. frick you!”

I enjoy May, June and up to July 4th but yeah after July 4th I really don't like the rest of summer. The heat is getting old (and being here in Florida you know you have at least 3 more months of it, it doesn't start to get cooler until mid-October) and there's nothing on sports wise.

I hate traveling this time of year because of the heat and everyone is traveling and you are paying higher prices but I get why. I usually do at least a weekend trip somewhere in July or August just because there's really nothing else to do. It's just the anticipated wait to football season and fall. Fall is absolutely my favorite time of year.

My wife and I went on a 3 mile walk this morning around 8am. Drenched when we got home. It's gross.

Early morning hike as the sun rises is about all of the outdoors I can do during the summer. Just think of late summer as setting the stage for glorious fall weather and football.

I’ve got 8 weeks of vacation built up, airline points, and hotel points.
I really am close to saying screw it and heading to the mountains for a few weeks.

MLB All Star week is the peak doldrums for me, but, yeah, this whole month pretty much sucks.

I remember when I was a kid that church folks would make a commitment to not watch TV for a month. They would always pick July to not watch. Cynically because there wasn’t much on TV then anyway.

Agree...I've been at work since July 3rd here in West Texas and there's not been a day under 110°.
Every forecast says 103 to 107 but it's always been hotter. Grrr...I'm here in Satan's arse crack till the 27th.

I hate these Temps and it makes me alter my schedule to accommodate it.

I wake up early, am on the water fishing before the sun comes up. Off the water by 10:30. Then clean up and take a nap. Then I goof off. Then around 6 pm I do my outside work.
