I "stubbed" my "pinky" toe last week, and as I waited for the initial wave of pain to subside, I looked down and instead of all the toes facing forward saw that the lil toe, "pinky" had decided to go in a different direction, between a f, and an r shape.
And it did hurt, in fact I couldn't walk, ended up in an urgent care, and after three shoots between the toes, the Doc pulled the dislocated toe back in place, that didn't feel too good either.
So yeah, it hurts.
What the Doc told me was stay off the foot as much as possible for 3-4 days, ice and elevate so the blood will reabsorb, and tape it to it's "buddy" toe for 3-4 weeks so it will stay in place.

I didn't check a show the other day. It had a moth or catapillar cacoon in it. I smashed it with my toe. Sock was saturated with juice. Guessing milkweed juice. Toe itched for 3 days. Talking the most irritating itch ever.
Check you shoes. Cacoon came from my basement in pittsburgh.

Amputation is the only option at this point.

My parents own several acres of mostly wooded land, and in Louisiana it's mostly muddy land for a good portion of the year.
So my dad would always wear boots when he was working outside, one day he took a break, went in to get coffee,(didn't matter if it was 90+ degrees outside, he always had to have his hot coffee), and took his boots off outside the door, drank his coffee, and pulled his boots on without checking first, and promptly was bitten by a snake, fricking thing held on too when he pulled his foot out.
He told me he had a heckuva time getting the snake loose from his big toe, but he did, it was venomous too though I don't remember what kind.
My mom drove him to an urgent care place close by, and the Doctor told him we can't treat you without knowing the kind of snake, so he pulled the dead snake out of a bag and showed them.
Still couldn't treat him so he ended up having to go to a hospital, he did recover and they did manage to save his toe.
So moral of the story, always check boots, shoes, etc., 'cause you never know if a creepy, crawly might take up residence.

Don't really have to worry about snakes up there. Especially so cut was a low cut tennis shoe. Odds are you would see a snake. As you can see it's still irritated a week later but itching is gone.

I've hurt myself bad before and this was top 5 for aggregating. Nothing would help as far as ointments

Dude no one wants to see a picture of your big toe

That's the weirdest looking toe I've ever seen.

Have you ever done any toe modeling?
I usually don't find men's feet sexy but damn that's a nice toe.

I would guess this would hurt if it were in your sock.

I'm at a loss for words on that one. Hopefully there's some camera distortion in play here.
