Regular ole dad has shoulder surgery and and 3 months later he's buying pain killers from some random dude behind the daiquiri shop. Happened to a lot of folk. Snuck up on ya arse if you weren't ready.

I had complete shoulder replacement a few years ago on a Thursday. On a drip then released Friday afternoon with a big bottle of Dilaudid to take every 4 hours, which I did until Sunday. I asked one of my kids to bring me one because I was hurting but didn’t remember that I had just taken one. She counted them and doled out as neeeded the rest of the day and Monday morning we flushed them. The pain was tolerable by then and I was done with them because I know me and I could easily fell into that scenario. Just had enough sense early to not do it.

Xanbars Are still a thing

there is no drug named Xanbar... it's Xanax 2mg... typically, in the shape of a "bar", but there is no drug named Xanbar...

Cleggett actually called once to say that I was breaking the law by not filling her prescriptions

she didn't understand pharmacy law, at all...

there is not a soul on earth that can make me give a patient as much as a fricking Tylenol, if i choose not to...

quote:

threatened to call the Board and file a complaint as well as send the cops to the pharmacy

would have been a nightmare... for her... as the Board of Medical Examiners would have certainly been involved, in the likely course of action, in which case they would have pulled her prescribing records as well... that wouldn't have gone well for her...
