Yeah LA shite the bed here in LC after Laura. Storm wiped out most of the entire grid. Did they go underground afterwards....nope. Wooden poles back up with over 3 weeks to return power

My power company serves like 15 or so counties, or parts thereof, most are inland areas north of Orlando, with some light coastal areas included. Morning after the storm we were at around 16% outages. 48 hours later, only 0.15% were still without power obviously we saw way less destruction than southwest Florida, but it was still an incredible effort by the linemen.

FL coastline doesn't have to deal with the type of tree damage that inland LA has.
You sound vaccinated

Florida is a well managed state these days. Leadership down it’s solid. Heading in the right direction too for a large state that it is.

Just like clockwork. Cahoots deletes his own post so he can bring his liberal alter SuperSaint in and try to hijack another thread. That's 2 days in a row that Cahoots just deletes his own posts. Who does that?

I heard today they are expecting 100% power restoration by Sunday after being hit head on by essentially a cat 5 storm. That’s incredible.

Maybe the immediate coastline but Florida has a shite ton of trees just inland.
Or maybe they were prepared cause their governor is not a MORON.

Go back and look at his post history. That's what he does because he is a pussy bitch who refuses to take a stand on anything and deletes any record of any comment he ever makes.
As to, "Who does that?"......pussy bitches who are weak, pathetic little men.

Is Cahoots and SuperTaint the same person?

That's great news! Why isn't it all just wireless? Then this wouldn't happen. It is 2022, the future.

I wonder what kind of infrastructure upgrade and storm restoration charges they will get from their power monopolies, I mean company.

Over 560,000 still without power in Florida 6 days later
100's of Boil Water Notices
During the height of the outages, more than 2.5 million customers were without power in Florida.

That Didn’t seem to matter with this storm. My mom and aunts are all underground and still lost power. We had massive trees down everywhere in the Orlando area.
Well, you're going to lose power when the substation is shut down... Power restores easy because they just need to get the station back up and they don't have to worry about downed lines.
Never said they wouldn't lose power.
After Ida, most of the newer subdivisions in Kenner got power back on first because all of their service lines are underground.

Boil water advisory for Ida

You were saying?

Orleans
Orleans Parish indeed is not under a boil water advisory, making it safe to drink the tap water.

In fact, Orleans Parish was never under a boil water advisory after Hurricane Ida, according to Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans spokesperson Courtney Barnes. Barnes described a "herculean effort" of the utility to monitor the pressure around the clock, combined with help from Entergy and Hancock Whitney Bank generators.
Several ambiguous national reports had people questioning the status of Orleans Parish's water situation, but it has been fully potable during and after the storm.

Well I live in Louisiana also and was down 26 days for the last one, and 16 days for a prior one, and I'm not on the coast.
