I don’t know why, but I hate it when people refer to pizza as a pie.

We usually get half pepperoni/half pumpkin.

Questionable pedigree for a Christmas movie

Dominos is significantly better than any north Chicago suburb and significantly cheaper. 3 topping large for $7.99 everyday means with tax you could get 10 larges for under $90.

It was most likely just a price made up for the movie

Maybe I’m just getting old and moody but I’d venture quality for most has come down a little over the years.

12 bucks for a pizza? That was like 1990? That's a price now.

I always thought it was funny that the family could afford that many kids/trips/house/etc. but the Dad got so pissed off about Kevin running up a tab on the credit card.

Home Alone and Home Alone 2 are great freaking movies. The kid actors are a little older than me in real life, but the movies are so nostalgic. I watch them every year when I see they are playing on whatever random channel.

$99 plus tax

And, who said anything about freakin Christmas? It’s a movie that took place around the holidays.

Plus, John Williams knocked the score out of the feckin park.

It kind of brought them back down to earth I think. The previous scene they're in a huge suite with tons of free presents, presumably delivered by Santa. That line made the dad more relatable to other dads in the audience.
