Well shite.

The actual "floppy" 3.5 inchers too.
I've been around computer a very long time, you sure you're not talking about a 5 1/4. Can't recall ever seeing a 3 1/2 inch floppy without the hard plastic case.
I actually recall the 8 inch floppy, though I never personally handled one.

Oregon Trail was awesome. All I did was hunt though and would die fairly quick.

I don't remember Oregon Trail being in color. It was black and green when I was in school.

Pace was always grueling and rations were always meager.

I was born smack dab in the middle of this (79) and I somehow didn't hear of this game until I was 30. I don't really remember what we did in the computer lab but it was boring as hell.

If you didn't grow up playing Zork or Dr. J vs. Larry Bird on a commodore 128 then you just haven't lived.
We had freaking Tandy 1000s in our computer lab at school. Figuring out how to make your name scroll the entire screen using BASIC was the highlight.

I was only somewhere between the ages of 7-11, but am I the only one who remembers playing Odell Lake? I fricking loved that game until the otter got involved.

The C-64 had some awesome games. They had the best versions of Epyx Summer Games and Winter Games, Ghostbusters, and Gyruss.
I had Dr J vs Larry Bird. Also had Raid Over Moscow..

Anybody remember the game Pooyan(sp.) You were a sheep with a crossbow shooting wolves that were floating toward the ground on balloons. I had that on a real floppy for the 128. Might be the first game I ever played.
