Don't you get a tax credit for the same amount if you don't get this check?
No, that's only if they use your 2019 tax filing and you don't qualify due to that, then when you file in 2020 you do qualify. In that instance you get a tax credit when you file your 2021 filing.

At least that's how it worked last year.

I'm curious what happens if you have a child this year, do you get the $1400 for the child when you file in 2021?

I love how a family with an AGI of $150,000 gets a $2800 check.

The family that earns $160,000 gets jack shite.

fricking stupid. And then we throw hundreds of millions to foreign countries.

You know that they'll put similarly stupid income limits if they decide to throw cash at student loans.

I was all excited a few months ago. Some how my AGI come out to $199,436.00 for 2020.

I told my wife we are in the money. The cocksuckers lowered it down even further.

Can’t catch a break.

Something like 90% of the bill has nothing to do with COVID. If they used all those dollars to give to qualifying taxpayers, I believe it came out to about $62,000 a person

The irs is completely fricking my shite up. I’ve used the same bank for direct deposit the past ten years. They said my money went in 2/24. Never did. I check my 1040 and the account number is wrong.

I called them 19 times yesterday for them to tell me that they don’t know why it was rejected by the bank. I told the stupid broad ten times it was the wrong number. They are sending me a check in the mail, but before that I have to get a letter saying it was fricked up. I won’t get this shite for another 12 weeks.

I asked the lady. Can I change my direct deposit information now in lieu of this next stimulus. She said she could not. She said that because of my issues with my refund it would automatically be mailed out. I’m willing to bet a pay check they try to put it into that fricked up account. Then I’ll be waiting another ten weeks for that. I need stock money now.

For those interested, if you make over the $80k/$160k threshold, your entire family is phased out, including dependants. At least based on the current version of the bill being reviewed by the House.

I’d have to think if you’d filed later and they’d already sent you the Biden Bucks, you’d be giving them back on your 2021 return.

$1400 = crumbs + $400
Nothing to get excited about.

You won't owe it back in 2021 if you qualify based on 2019 but would not qualify in 2020.

I'm sure if you file in the next few days you be fine and get it.
