I would stay in the Army and retire, I went in at 17 years old, I would have retired at 37 years old! I'm 54 now!

Not get married at 23. I wish I could’ve met my current husband sooner & had my son when I was younger. It’s not a real regret, since I wouldn’t have them if things had worked out differently.

It usually works out way differently than you planned.

I wouldn't get married at 21. I should've listened to my older brothers when they tried to tell me to put it off a couple more years.

I used to say I would change this or if I could go back I'd do this. My Pops changed my thinking on that. He used the idea of working more when we were younger. Someone told him he could have made more money, blah, blah. He would say that if he had gone into work more that he would have been away from home and his kids more, and there was no telling what that would have changed.

You can't change one thing without changing everything.

Actually go to class my first time in college. It really is that simple but I never believed my parents when they told me way back when.

If that didn’t happen I would have gone military right after high school and stayed in instead of waiting 5 years.

Of course if all this happened I probably wouldn’t be married to my current wife and have the kids that I have.

It’s life. Live and learn.

This thought had occurred to me. If I changed X about my life 25 years ago, would my daughter exist right now? It's certainly a domino effect.

Dump the girl I was dating senior year of HS and first year of college. I put it on a pedestal and it cost me dearly.
