One of the recent CIA file dumps sheds some light. Always been fishy to me.
Interesting. Seems like that there is much more to that than just "erratic behavior." Why would he meet with a KGB officer who was also a suspected assassin?

Kennedy was murdered because he was ending the U.S.'s relationship with the federal reserve. He wanted the country to enter it's own currency back silver and the full faith and credit of the country. He was toast once he even talked about doing that. There is plenty of evidence to prove it, just look at Lincoln. He was killed essentially for the same reason, but he just pissed off different bankers.

Live camera from the top of the book depository via earthcam. Been there quite a few times. The distance is minuscule.
Those shots weren't extremely difficult to make. I've stood on the X and looked out the window.
Oswald did it.

Mark the date. This is the first time I think I've agreed with you on anything.
I became convinced after reading Vincent Bugliosi's Reclaiming History

Oswald was a complete nut and no conspiracy would have wanted that guy getting the morning coffee, let alone being the triggerman.
You are so correct. People do not fully comprehend this. The Soviets were at first.. oh we got us a U.S. Marine defector?!?! Awww, yea!!! But soon after they were telling him to get the frick out of here.
Also an overlooked, but massively important fact is Jack Ruby's timeline the morning he shot Oswald:
- is awaken by phone by one of his strippers (or waitresses) needing a rent payment made ASAP or she gets evicted
- is at Western Union (a receipt confirms this) at the time of the announced Oswald prisoner transfer
- has his beloved dog with him (in his car)
- transfer of Oswald is delayed, partly because the armored truck was too big to enter garage ramp at Dallas Police HQ, and for a few other logistical reasons
- Ruby walks a couple blocks to check out the commotion at DPD HQ
- sneaks in, because he is a well know businessman, and not a suspicious person
If the CIA (or Mafia, or Cuba, or the Soviets) assigned Jack Ruby to silence the patsy, then that same CIA would have had difficulty walking and chewing gum at the same time.

I remember being a 7th grader at Our Lady of Good Counsel School on Staten Island when the pastor came in and gave us the news. I remember my first thought being that the front page of the NY Daily News the next day would have a picture of JFK waving with a bandage around his head. It didn’t work out that way. My family didn’t vote for JFK in the 1960 election, but I remember how sad we all were during those days following the assassination. We were glued to the black and white TV.
Wasn’t a new theory put forth during the 2016 Republican primary? Didn’t Ted Cruz’ father commit the crime?

Oswald did it.
The distance was not all that difficult.
The downward aim was in no way a significant challenge.
The timing of the three shots, while a slight challenge to some extent, were IN NO WAY some impossible to accomplish.
They also will lie and tell you Oswald was not a good shot. In fact, he was listed as a Marine Corps Marksman.
What is a "marksman"? Well, if my memory is correct, it means that at 200 yards, you can shoot within a one-foot diameter target, 8 out of 10 shots.

I might drive by Lee Harvey's house on the way home from work. It's on S. Vermont St. in Covington.
Or drive down magazine st in New Orleans. Oswald and Marina lived in a duplex near upperline in the summer of 1963 just a few months before going back to Dallas.

But it's the lowest rifle qualification badge preceded by Sharpshooter then Expert. Not a poor shot, but not the best of shooters by Marine Corps standards either. By saying he was a Marine Corps Marksman without placing that in context might cause some readers to give him credit for shooting skills he hadn't earned or proven.
I think some of the more plausible speculations questioning Oswald's abilities to hit a moving target at that range revolve more around the weapon, the sight, and their poor condition and misalignment than his marksmanship training.

I thought the same thing. I could hit the president with a Daisy BB gun from that distance.

Rose Cheramie
quote:
She said she had been driving with the two men from Miami to Dallas before they stopped at the lounge in Eunice, and stated “We’re going to kill President Kennedy when he comes to Dallas in a few days”. Their combined purpose, she said, was “to number one, pick up some money, pick up her baby [being kept by another man], and to kill Kennedy”. Because of Cheramie’s condition, Fruge did not take her words seriously, even though he later testified that Cheramie had been very lucid during their trip.
quote:
David Lewis, a former employee of Guy Bannister, told the New Orleans District Attorney’s office that he had witnessed a meeting in the late summer of 1963 at Mancuso’s Restaurant between Sergio Arcacha Smith, Lee Harvey Oswald, and a man named Carlos, who “were involved in some business which dealt with Cuba” and that Arcacha “appeared to be the boss”.

I watched the same documentary. Very plausible and cant be swiftly disregarded. Actually makes the most sense out of everything.
