Anyone know why the Oasis jobsite on Burbank has been shut down so long after the accident in early September? I assumed, for a while, it was related to the OSHA investigation.

I would hate to be an investor looking at a half complete jobsite with zero activity for close to 4 months.

Investigation is done but they had to resubmit permits. Actually still waiting for them to get approved so they can't do too much.

I only go by there a couple of times a week. Sure doesn't look like anything is progressing but will take your word for it.

Pretty sure someone died in a pump truck accident a few months ago.

Permitting delays that are pushing the project back a few months.

Not sure what you mean by zero activity. There is lots going on. VB courts being built as we speak. The problem is the city of baton rouge and trying to get permit to complete interior of restaurant. That and the rains this summer. Will be looking to open sometime late spring April/May.

You can take my word. I own it.If we had a decent DPW and permitting dept in this town we would probably be opening now. Looking at April/May.
