Mike's daughter and I were friends growing up.

I will raise you one......

Johnny George (Aka: Dog).

Dog was a legend and passed way too soon.

The Kettle in West Monroe. Full breakfast buffet was served. That was our meeting place after 2AM.

the legends live on. 'boudreaux butt paste' was stolen from dr. talbot and i still run into pharmacists here in nashville who were trained by mike napoli and speak about him as a legend.

he always gave us kids 'credit accounts' to buy candy & shite and would bill our parents at the end of the month.

damn i got in trouble a few times. blame it on pangburn's millionaires

The one off 165 by the Holidome was awesome. Lots of late night eats there. Then it became Jordan's.

Clay Jordan of Survivor fame owned the joint. I ended up getting to know Clay while I was there. He is one funny SOB.

uh oh.

so was your favorite T&C legend the 'canyon' or the 'valley'?
I was bussed in from Lakeshore to fill sandbags for all you slackers , at that point in my life I just assumed everyone from T and C was high as a kite(I smelled pot for the first time there around the rec center),

You have me by a few years. My 8th grade year was when they closed Swartz, Log Town, and Jack Hayes Jr Highs and dumped em in OPJH.

for me it was the ko-ko-mo next to the ramada inn.

true story, when i was a kid my dad didn't make alot of money so the first 'real' vacation we took is my dad booked a room for a night at the ramada and we drove across town and felt like we were fricking BALLERS getting to stay up late, watch cable tv and go swimming at night and roll out of bed and buy anything we wanted for breakfast at the ko-ko-mo!

go frick yourself if you don't think that's the ultimate OT baller vacation
