What an awful dealership. From service to sales they are horrible. I don't even bother getting them to bid

Haven't had any issues with their service department personally, but their sales team could definitely use some work. Are they really the highest volume dealer in the state?

You're right and I wish everyone was putting $30k down, but it rarely happens. A VAST majority of customers are financing and put less than $7,500 down. I want you to be comfortable with the note and eventually you're going to tell me if we're not where you want to be. So why hide it? let me help you get there or help me to realize were on the wrong vehicle and save time for both of us?

For every person that has their finances together, there's 5 people that want to lower their note with no money down, bad credit, and negative equity in their trade. I don't get paid unless I sell, of course I'm going to ask questions and qualify you to see if the time put in will be worth it.

Take that $30k elsewhere so we can get you financing the full vehicle price!

OHHH you were planning on financing with us? I meant 4.99% at 78 months then.

I assumed the smart car shopper had his financing lined up.

The smart shopper does that while also initially taking advantage of manufacturer financing rebates that they then payoff with their already set up financing.

I find that hard to believe based on location, but they have been there as long as I can remember so it's possible. Their prices are just not very competitive

Maybe for you the note is irrelevant, but that's not the case for everyone. Again, why we ask questions. If I find out you don't care about the note, guess what I'm not going over with you? Monthly payments.

Back to my original point, this is why we ask the question.

Because this is how people think. It is what it is. The sales guy's job is to move product. If painting the picture this way moves product, then that's what you do. If it didn't work, they wouldn't use it.

You're asking it to get people to not notice thy're paying more for a vehicle. You operate off that model to take advantage of people that get overwhelmed by the high pressure tactics most of your industry employs. You aren't asking the question to help the buyer.

Salesmen that sell well are promoted. You have to be damned good to sell someone more shite after they just agreed upon a vehicle price!

Actually I look at it as unethical fast talking, numbers manipulation, and preying on people who are scared of confrontation and are exhausted from the sales process. But I'm glad it's funny to you.

There have been models that show trying to make the process more efficient and less painful leads customers to feel they aren’t getting a good deal. The idiots feel like they have to go through this whole get angry and threaten to leave BS to get the best deal. If they don’t get that experience then they won’t buy.

It sucks but this is absolutely true.
