The new Antioch extension is open

And the fricking EBR Sheriff is shooting radar.
WTF? Been open what 3 days through a cow pasture and they turn it into a revenue stream.
And State Police shooting radar at Woodlawn Elementary half a mile back.

Yep I live off of hoo shoo too and the drive has been a nightmare but since it opened it has been nice, just hope it stays that way

I get it, you should obey the speed limit. However, it is tough when it is a new street. You don't know the limits and some of these new streets have incredibly low speed limits. Look at what they did on Bluebonnet when they extended it through to Nicholson. 2 lanes each way with a giant boulevard in the center and the speed limit is 30!! No one in the right mind would assume it is 30 so if you miss the sign you could easily be going 40 and get a ticket. It is a trap in that case, IMO.

The whole reason for Antioch Extension is because of Long Farm and the commercial businesses that will be opening there soon. That area will be built up in no time, so the speed limit is likely low because of that. I'm guessing 40 MPH?

Think it is 45. I don't speed and don't really care. I do like it jus thought it hasn't even had a ribbon cutting and they already are shooting radar.
And Rouses bid 2 weeks ago and will start building within 30 days. That will be nice and I hope it develops well.

I am sure it is mainly because of the Long Family and raking in a bunch of money because they have connections.
