I dislike and distrust our fed Gov as much as anybody but I work in cyber security and DarkSide is a legit ransomware outfit. Been around since last year. They’ve mainly hit Edu and local municipalities.

1) you appeared to have “confidently” thought randoms did this
2) I never said how “confident” I was with my statement. You just assumed. Do you assume sex and race also you misogynst racist?
3) I didn’t quickly admit anything. There were 2 hours of time between my posts.

Until there is real evidence otherwise I feel comfortable with “believing” the story. Honestly the story is not unbelievable. Big companies everywhere are getting attacked like this left and right.

Treat them like the Somali pirates who took over a ship. Send an elite squad to find the bad guys and shoot them in the face. Do the same for a few other hackers and robocallers, and that may put a dent in that sort of activity.
