The people kneeling don't know. Kapernicks racist girlfriend told him it was to protest institutional racism.

yeah, that's a lie
The pussy whining about his NBA season tickets knows nothing about why these players are doing this

Surely you jest
I don't...it's a symbolic gesture. "Here's a flag because your husband died overseas. Sorry dude"
The flag is a piece of cloth made in China. Players kneeling for the anthem doesn't lessen its values or America's values. It actually makes this country unique

You wanna know why people are mad? You wanna know why these protests are ignorant, misguided, and hypocritical? Why these players deserve no respect and no admiration by anyone?
These NFL players have a national audience and one of the extremely few platforms that can and does actually reach kids and families in inner cities. Athletes and rap stars are two of the groups that can actually reach black youth on a massive scale. And they have all come together to make news headlines and direct national attention not to the deplorable state of public education for these youth, not to the crime rate in their communities, not to the absentee fathers, not to the welfare state, no... Not to any of these massive glaring problems plaguing these impressionable and misguided youth. They have come together to protest the police treatment of criminals. That's fricking ridiculous. It's sickening.
Let me give you a scenario:
If you went to a doctor's office with a gunshot wound in your chest and a splinter in your toe, and you held the doctor at gunpoint and demanded he remove the splinter so you could go home, don't you think people would wonder what the frick was wrong with you? And if you further advocated that all doctors in the hospital stop what they're doing to treat the absolute most minor of injuries, wouldn't you deserve criticism and scrutiny?

These black athletes have done more for black communities than any of you ever have. You just choose to ignore it, because it's not in the "they hate muh cops, muh troops, and muh flag"
So what if Kaep kneeled during the anthem in defiance of black on black crime. Would you still tell him to frick off?

I think the "outrage" is not about them protesting. People truly don't know their intent or message, and it comes off as a combination of arrogance and ignorance because it is insincere and unclear.

Why are people offended by statues and flags?
People like to be offended

That has absolutely nothing to do with my post.

This is ignorant nonsense.

Id applaud him. I'd support him. It would be amazing.

There is no ignorance or arrogance behind it...these players truly believe in what they preach. It's "ignorance"' to some, because it makes them uncomfortable. If you follow the core of the "outrage" it comes down to hating black people.

If he had to disrespect the flag to bring attention Black on black crime, I would tell him I can appreciate the gesture and tell him he was going about it the wrong way.

If you are oposed to players kneeling, you are a white supremacist- plain and simple
Posted on 9/24/17 at 11:36 pm to Rebel
Its not disrespecting the flag.

Ah, the convenient and intellectually lazy route.

It's not disrespecting the flag though...he's quietly protesting. The fricks in tiger stadium yelling "home of the tigers" during the anthem are more disrespectful

What exactly are they preaching? Please lay it out for me.

That's quite possibly the most ignorant statement I've ever read on this topic. And what's sad is you believe it. It's a tragedy.

Damn, Tebow brought out the racists.
Wonder what black people who think it's disrespectful feel about you labeling them a racist.
