No one died this year but they had a few pretty severe crashes. But Peter Hickman had a bad one on the Friday of practice after I had left. An exhaust bracket broke and blew out his rear tire at about 140 mph. He’s beat up but will be back.
A sidecar went off track while we were there and the medics on their bikes going to the scene are almost as fast and incredible to watch. Pretty cool. I’ll go back when I can spend a full week or so but I’m thankful to have gotten a couple days in anyway.

If you only watch like a few seconds it can seem real because it’s moving too fast to make out much details. And to be fair, video game graphics have gotten tremendously better especially if someone’s playing it on PC
But yeah after watching a minute it becomes much more obvious it’s fake.
Especially when the other rider comes into view
