a group of hyper-intelligent pan-dimensional beings demand to learn the Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, The Universe, and Everything from the supercomputer, Deep Thought, specially built for this purpose. It takes Deep Thought 7½ million years to compute and check the answer, which turns out to be 42. Deep Thought points out that the answer seems meaningless because the beings who instructed it never actually knew what the Question was

What I find fascinating is that today we live in an age where we are truly comprehending our place in the large dark nothingness of space. To our understanding, there are no other life forms similar to ours in our galaxy. Thus, this makes our life and our limited time spent on earth unique. Through that we can find the individuals meaning to life.

No one can possibly believe that we are alone. The universe is far too big for that

Watch a tadpole zip around a scum pond. The tadpole is you, the scum pond is life.

Allow me to clarify, I meant to say there are no other life forms like us in our Milky Way Galaxy. It's taken BILLIONS of years to get to where we are today, at this very moment. Call me a sunshine pumper, but every time I remember this little fact, I get goosebumps

Soda, no offense taken. I recently watched Cosmos with Neil DeGrasses Tyson. Maybe it's just him, but his explanation of our location in the universe really put things into perspective.

The meaning of life is to procreate to keep your species going. That's it, nothing earth shattering.

There are about 300 billion stars in the Milky Way.. Think we've even come close to studying them all?

Matter is energy; in the Universe there are many energy fields which we cannot normally perceive. Some energies have a spiritual source which act upon a person's soul. However, this soul does not exist *ab inito*, as orthodox Christianity teaches; it has to be brought into existence by a process of guided self-observation. However, this is rarely achieved owing to man's unique ability to be distracted from spiritual matters by everyday trivia.

Also, people are not wearing enough hats.

If more people would live by this the world would be a better place. Too many people don't relax and just live life and enjoy it. This is a one time ride, take it all in and enjoy the times you are with your family, your hobby's or what ever you enjoy.

I don't understand people that stress over other peoples beliefs and get consumed with hate for their fellow man.
